A Little About Us
Hello there!
MonkeyBean Photos is located in Jackson Georgia!
We're Melissa (Monkey) and Julie (Bean) (just two crazy nicknames that stuck over the years and sounded like fun for a photog business!)
We love to take creative, candid, carefree photos of just about anything! Most of our photos are taken outside on location to take advantage of natural light. If you have a favorite outdoor spot, let us know and we'll travel there, if not we'll meet you at one of our favorite locations.
(That's us being goofy and having a good time...because we're fun like that!)
We think our photographic style pretty much speaks for itself...you can look at our images and tell that we are not the type that will put a bright light on you and make you look directly at the camera with a cheesy smile for every shot! We love the more laid back approach and think that images that sort of happen on their own with minimal set up from us, look way more natural and will tell a story that will be cherished for many years as opposed to something that looks completely fake and forced.
We do not sell prints or packages, however you will get a DVD of your pictures that have been retouched and edited. You can then make as many prints in as many sizes as you like. Part of a photographer's job is to take the boring, straight out of camera shots and turn them into something spectacular that you will cherish for years to come. Retouching and editing both require time, knowledge, and skill. This is where a photographer's prices come into play. :)

When you receive your photo DVD, we will pass along some websites that we recommend for all your photo printing needs. You certainly don't want to pay us to take great photos and then have mediocre photos printed from a drugstore! We make sure to shoot all photos in the largest format possible, making your photos capable of being printed as large as poster size if you desire. You'll be surprised at how little you have to pay for quality prints. We'll help you with any online ordering needs that you may have, just let us know.
To keep your costs down, it will actually SAVE you money to get the photos printed on your own. You will find that some photography studios might not charge much for a session or sitting fee but you will later spend more money than you intended when purchasing their prints.
By having an "all in one" price for your photo disk and session fee, you will enjoy the ease of getting exactly the number and size of prints that you want whenever you need them. There’s no hassle if you decide later that you want additional prints made - because the DVD is yours and paid for.
**If the location you prefer is over 30 miles, additional travel expense will be added.
